Meal Plans

Meal plans are a waste of money.

My meal plan at UGA costs me $1800 a semester. However, the Food Services people don't bother telling you that by signing on for a semester, you're actually signing a contract for an entire year. I wanted to get out of my meal plan because it's really not worth the money and they tried telling me it would cost me $1132 to cancel it for terminating my year-long contract. So I'd only get just under $700 back. I had only used the meal plan this semester for a week or so, but the plan officially started for the semester on January 7. Scam much?

    Nah I can't. It's supposed signed contract bullshit.
